Chick-fil-A Leadership Team. Chick-Fil-A holds a high standard for their management team and require a rigorous Top -Grading Interview process for those who feel ready to take on Solo Site Franchising Ownership. It is a very lucrative venture and requires high levels of communication, understanding of restaurant standards, and keen positioning of Chick-Fil-A’s branding in the surrounding communities.
An established and successful local Chick-Fil-A owner reached out for support in training his internal leaders from both of his restaurants to successfully interview to gain new ownership opportunities. Understanding that the talent was very present but the ability to communicate that talent was the current challenge, a group training program was developed with high success. To date, everyone who has sought an ownership opportunity has successfully landed the offer and the program is still available on an on-going basis when the need is present.
The training included a personality assessment, discussions around the leadership qualities that Chick-Fil-A demands, and an in-depth dive into how and what to communicate when given the opportunity. Session were 1-2 hours in length with homework between. Sessions were designed to provide practice, discussion around how to improve, and understand how the Top-grading interview process was designed to distinguish their true talent and preparedness for the new role.
Two candidates successfully reached an ownership offer even before their initial training was complete and provided the following feedback:
This training was instrumental in me getting the position I went after. Jacob D. (Took the training via webinar and successfully gained the ownership offer simultaneously as training concluded.)
My success hinged on the communication skills I learned in the sessions within this training. Bobby F. (Trained in person with the group and was the first to gain an offer in less than 3 sessions.)
